Aurora

Aurora Aksnes Born June 15, 1996, in Stavanger and professionally referred to as Aurora or, sometimes, stylized in the form of AURORA is a Norwegian artist and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15, 2015, it received a raving review from the music blogosphere and the media. She has recorded several high-profile cover songs, including Half the World Away (by the group Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) The songs have been widely praised. Katy Perry's endorsement of her track Runaway in a blog entry added to the musician's praise. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was finding a keyboard in her loft and being amazed by its sound. Parents May-Britt as well as Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to take up music not as a profession or a hobby, but for growth. So she started her own compositions. Her influences include renowned writers Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in addition to her affinity with Bjork's style. Her mom encouraged her to sing her music in front of the public, but not in order to become famous but rather help others realize how important their voices are and how they can do for the world. The piano was first played by her when she was just 6 years old and was writing her first song by the time she was nine. The family members didn't know about it until the age of fourteen. Aurora was not a goal. Aurora says that she likes creating songs. Music is for her the most effective way to experience whatever.
